So, Mark just got a new job working for the school. We're so excited! It was a long, thorough interview process, but he flew through with shining colors cause, you know, he's awesome.
He'll be helping teachers at this school understand and learn how to use the Ilearn and Brain Honey programs online, designing stuff for school, etc. I'm not sure what it's called exactly. All I know is it's a huge blessing for our family!
We're finally getting some finishing touches for our apartment, particularly a CHRISTMAS TREE! :D It's gorgeous, just saying. I don't care if we put it up ridiculously early. It's just perfect.
I've been studying recipes way too much. I spend lots of time on this website:
www.foodgawker.com
Check it out, it has some amazing recipes. I've tried several of them already. I've gotten a new found love for cooking, particularly baking bread. It's so much fun to try new recipes and new techniques and new flavors. Hopefully one day i'll get to the point when my husband will say, "Dude, you've got to come over for dinner tomorrow night. My wife's making her famous blah blah blah," and my kid's friends will say "Dude, can you steal me some of your mom's bread? It's to die for!" And apparently, my husband and kids will commonly use the word "dude" before their sentences.
Cooking is awesome for me. Huge stress reliever, but isn't exactly easy on the budget. But, it could be worse. At least i'm not spending all our money on clothes.. :)
OH, and, i definitely scored an awesome vintage sewing machine. So between all this cooking and sewing, i'm basically a wonder woman.
Life is wonderful!
